This Project Is Designed to Implement One to Many Timber Sales Over the Next 3 to 5 Years. the First Timber Is Included in the Current Version of the Agreement - Son of Alice. the Son of Alice Timber Sale on 689 Acres and Will Produce 40,730 Tons, Representing Roughly Half of the Forest Timber Target for 2026. Objectives of the Son of Alice Timber Sale Are: Forest Health, Habitat Improvement and Quail Habitat Improvement. the Estimated of the Timber Is $310,373.14. the Timber Value Will Be Exchanged for Project Service Work. Service Work Included as Follows: Mid-story Reduction on Nearly 900 Acres to Improve Habitat, Wildlife Open Construction, Monitoring of Woodpecker Cluster Sites, Timber Sale Layout and Cruising of Out-year Timber Sales, and Reforestation Activities Within the Project Area (site Preparation, Tree Planting and Tree Release).
