This Agreement Will Solidify an Effort With Trout Unlimited to Recover From Hurricane Helene Impacts by Restoring Critical Infrastructure and Restoring Watershed Function That Was Profoundly Impacted by Hurricane Helene in Georgia on the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest. This Agreement Includes the Recovery of Road Systems on the Chattooga River Ranger District Including Up to 20 Bridges and 7 Road Reconstructions. Recovery of These Roads Will Reestablish Safe Access for State Agencies to State Lands, Private Landowners, Forest Recreators and for Forest Service Active Management Operations. the Projects Will Leverage Financial Resources, Expertise, and Capacity to Accomplish Project Management, Planning, Analysis, Design, and Implementation of Hurricane Recovery Work to Restore Critical Infrastructure, Mitigate Factors Threatening Communities, and Restore Ecological Systems.
