The Project's Objective Is to Place 1560 Tons of Limestone Rock Road Base Approximately 20' Wide by 2.55 Miles Long on the North Scrub Creek Road Within the Davy Crockett National Forest in Trinity County, Texas. the Davy Crockett-sam Houston Resource Advisory Committee Approved $70,200.00 in Title Ii Secure Rural Schools Funding for the Project. These Funds Will Be Used by Trinity County to Place Rock, Replace Non-functional Culverts, Clean Out and Shape Ditches, Trim Limbs and Brush, and Prepare the Road for Rock Placement. Trinity County Will Provide the Equipment, Labor, and Materials for the Repairs. the County Will Purchase All Materials and Supplies Initially and Will Be Reimbursed by the U.s. Forest Service Upon Completion of the Project. Complete Expenditure Records Will Be Required for Reimbursement. the Project Is Scheduled to Begin in the Fall of 2025 and Continue Through the Fall of 2026.
