This Agreement Supports the Agency in Working With the County Noxious Weed Board to Prevent, Detect, and Control Invasive Species and Restore Native Plants on Federal Lands. Invasive Plant Treatments Reduce Fuel Loads, Reduce Wildfire Burn Severity, and Reduce Wildfire Risk. in Addition, This Project Will Target Invasive Treatments Along Viewpoints, Trails, and Visitor Centers, All of Which Improves the Quality of Experience for Recreational Users. Priority Work Areas Include the Hummocks Trail, Coldwater Visitor Center, Coldwater Lake Trail and the Proposed New Trail From the Coldwater Visitor Center to Coldwater Lake. This Project Will Be Completed by May 2030. the Project Outlined in This Agreement Meets the Agencys Priority to Reduce Wildfire Risk and Improve Recreation Access.
