The Project Activities Include the Collection of Pre/during Data to Evaluate the Impact of Implementing the New Shuttle Service That Will Provide Public Transportation to Recreation Sites at the Angeles National Forest. Data Collection Will Include Estimating the Total Number of Visitors by Recreation Site, Parking Counts, and Mapping of Trash and Vandalism to Guide Adaptive Management Strategies. Furthermore, an Educational Campaign Will Be Developed to Engage Communities to Understand Leave No Trace and Other Stewardship Principles. Data Analysis Will Be Done to Help Develop an Impact Report on the MT Wilson Express Shuttle Service. Presentations on Findings Will Be Given to National Forest Managers and City Officials.nature for All Is Responsible for Visiting All the Recreation Sites Within the Shuttle Service Route for Data Collection (identifying Location of Graffiti, Property Damage, Trash, Human Waste, Etc.). They Will Map Where the Disturbance Is Located Within the Recreation Trail Prior and During the Shuttle Service. Furthermore, Nature for All Is Responsible for Developing an Education Campaign to Provide Visitors With Information on Leave No Trace Principles and Other Educational Information for Them to Be Good Stewards of the Land. If Agreement With Nature for All Is Not Approved, We Will Not Be Able to Complete the Mapping of the Human Disturbances That Are Needed to Identify the Impacts of Implementing the Shuttle Service in the Angeles National Forest. in Addition, a No Education Campaign Will Be Developed to Inform the Public of Stewardship Principles. Lastly, We Will Not Be Able to Fulfill These Tasks That Are Required in the Awarded Federal Highway Administration Grant.
