This Agreement Is Funded With Information Technology (IT) Funding Approved by the Chief Information Office (cio). This Agreement Provides a Means for Co-development and Maintenance of Wildland Fire Software Applications, Data Delivery Systems, and Fire Lab Discovery Network Infrastructure Between the Missoula Fire Sciences Lab and the Cooperator. Activities Included in This Work Will Include:a. Support for Development and Enhancement of Wildland Fire Software Applications Including Windninja, Windninja Mobile, and the Fire Weather Alert System.b. Operations and Maintenance Support for the Fire Effects Information System (FEIS) and Associated Citation Retrieval System (CRS).C. Support for the Fire Labs Discovery Network and Infrastructure Used to Develop, Test, and Host Wildland Fire Applications and Data Delivery Systems.d. Participation in Science Delivery Through Contributions to Webinars, Story Maps, Data Archiving, and Other Related Activities to Enhance the Application of Results and Products to Meeting Fire Management Needs. This New Cost Share Agreement Will Allow Staff at the Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS) Fire Lab to Continue to Partner With the Cooperator and Continue Our Productive Relationship. by Bringing Together the Scientific Expertise of Forest Service Research & Development With the Private Sector Technological Capabilities and Innovation of the Cooperator, This Agreement Will Maximize Our Capabilities in Development and Delivery of Wildland Fire Science.
