This Project Is to Advance Wildlife Habitat Management, Bird Conservation and Active Forest Management Through Reliable Information, Knowledge, and Applied Tool Development. the Avian Knowledge Network (akn)can Be Used to Advance Complementary Goals of Forest Restoration, and Habitat Enhancement, and Management of Landscapes for Sensitive and At-risk Species by Targeting Opportunities Across the National Forest System (NFS) as Well as Non-nfs Lands to Promote Healthy Forests. Importantly, Akn Can Also Help to Facilitate Future Collaborative Partnership Opportunities Across Organizations Including Private Landowners and States Interested in Cross Boundary Project Implementation by Facilitating Information Sharing and Decision Support Resources.
