This Project Will Coordinate Over 500 Volunteers Annually, Providing the Necessary Oversight, Planning and Logistical Support to Ensure Volunteers Are Able to Conduct On-the-ground Work Safely, Effectively, and Efficiently. Specific Activities to Be Completed Include Recruiting, Training, and Scheduling Volunteers for Projects Which Align With Agency Priorities. These Volunteer Projects Include Noxious Weed Removal, Reforestation and Tree Planting, Maintaining Developed Recreation Sites, Maintaining Trails, and Providing Recreation and Safety Information to the Public at Offices and at Popular Recreation Sites. This Work Aligns With the Chief's Priority on Ensuring Access to High Quality, Safe Recreation Opportunities. This Annual, Recurring Work Will Be Provided Through August, 2030. All Work Will Occur Within Marion, Linn, Lane, and Douglas Counties, Oregon.
