Additionally, as a Construction Plus Program, Individuals With Career Interests Outside of the Construction Industry Will Have the Opportunity to Receive Training and Earn Industry-recognized Credentials in High-demand Fields Such as Cna. in Addition to Education and Workforce Training, Participants Will Complete Leadership Development Training and Community Service-learning Projects. During the Community Service-learning Projects, Participants Will Utilize the Hands-on Construction Skills They Learn in the Youthbuild Program to Help Improve Our Community.we Will Customize a Plan for Each Participant to Include Hands-on Work Experience, Mentoring, Job Shadowing, and Internships. Each Participant Receives Complete Case Management Services From Staff Who Coordinate and Coach Them Throughout Program Participation to Support Successful Outcomes and Performance Achievement. Upon Completing the Youthbuild Program, They Can Enter the Workforce or Continue Their Journey Along a Selected Career Pathway Through Post-secondary Education or Apprenticeship.
