Program Descriptionpha Wishes to Produce a Youthbuild Program for Youth Participants Including Basic Educational Foundation (obtaining a Ged) and Occupational Hands-on Training They Need to Become Successful and Self-sufficient. All Program Participants Will Receive Academic and Hands-on Skills Training in the Construction Industry by Engaging in the Construction of Affordable Housing for Those in Need in Our Area. While Participating in Leadership Development Training and Community Service-learning Projects, Our Participants Will Gain Their Ged and Structural Welding Certificate. to Help Make Our Community a More Hospitable Place, Participants Will Take Advantage of the Hands-on Construction Skills They Learn During Their Time in the Youthbuild Program.each Participant Will Receive an Individualized Combination of Work Experience, Mentoring, Job Shadowing, and Internships.
