However, With the Announcement of Ford Motor Company and SK Innovations 11.4 Billion Combined Investment in the West Tennessee Megasite Just Northeast of Memphis in Haywood County, the Service Area Is Poised to See Significant Growth in Other Industries and Sectors That Will Diversify the Regional Economy and Create New Career Pathway Opportunities.the Progeny Pie Model Is Enhanced by the Nationally Recognized Jobs for America S Graduates (JAG) Model. as the West Tennessee Regional Partner for Jag Tennessee, Progeny Pie Provides the Opportunity for Skills Training, Work-based Learning, and Job Placement for High Quality Career Pathways in the Construction and Advanced Manufacturing Sectors. With Supportfrom the Worc Grant, Progeny Plans to Expand the Model Into Two Additional Counties (tiptonand Lake) as Well as Buildout New and Strengthen Existing Pre-apprenticeable Occupations. to Position Progeny Pie to Train In-demand Occupations for Employers Across West Tennessee,grant Funds Will Be Used to Invest in Three Mobile and Pop-up Training Labs for Teachers Andcommunity-based Training Locations. These Investments Will Convert to Future Workforce Training Needs, Such as Auto Body Repair, Network Security Specialist, Telecommunications Specialist,construction Laborer, and Industrial Manufacturing and Mechatronics Technician, Providing Progeny Place With the Resources to Adapt and Quickly Respond to a Range of Occupational Training Needs, Overcome Barrier of Employer Location, School Capacity, Rurality, Transportation, and Classroom Space.
