Genesee Is Classified Asan Urban County, as Defined by the U.s. Census Bureau, Which Is Any County Containing Anurbanized Area (UA) of at Least 50,000 People. Flint S Estimated Population in 2021 by the Uscensus Bureau Was 80,628.BRIEF Summary of Project, Including Activities, Scope of Project, and Proposed Outcomesthe Flint Genesee Pathway Home Program, Led by Mott Community College (MCC), Willprovide Evidence-based Employment Services to Incarcerated Women and Men Before and Aftertheir Reentry Into the Genesee County Community. MCC, in Partnership With the Genesee Countyjail and the Sheriff S Department Ignite Program, Will Work to Employ a Team of Reentrynavigators to Provide One-on-one Assistance to Participants. the Reentry Navigators Will Beginserving Individuals Within 20-270 Days of Their Scheduled Release and Continue Working Withthem Afterward to Help Place Them in Short-term Training Programs and or Employment.relationships Will Be Established With Current Reentry Programs and Various Communityorganizations to Ensure a Coordinated Transition From Incarceration to Public Life.our Intended Project Outcomes Include 1) 55 Employment Among Participants During Thesecond Quarter After Exit From the Program 2) an Employment Rate of 45 Among Participantsduring the Fourth Quarter After Exit From the Program 3) Median Earnings of 5,000 Amongparticipants in Unsubsidized Employment During the Second Quarter After Exit From Program 4)60 of Participants Enrolled in an Education or Training Program Will Attain a Recognizedpostsecondary Credential or Secondary School Diploma and 5) 65 of Participants Who Are in Aneducation or Training Program Leading to a Credential or Employment Who Are Achievingmeasurable Skill Gains Towards Credential or Employment.
