These Raps Support High-demand Career Pathways That Willsupport the Regions Burgeoning Green Energy and Broadband Sectors, Leveraging Generationalinvestments Made by the Biden Administration. the Scaling of These Industry Partnerships Willallow for People Throughout the Southwestern Pa Region to Also Benefit From This Growth, With Anemphasis on Job Quality, Equitable Outcomes, and Worker Voice, Focusing on Serving Opportunityyouth, People of Color, Women, People With Disabilities, Justice-impacted Individuals, Andresidents of Rural Communities Throughout the Nine-county Service Area. With All Programsdesigned to Place Participants Directly Into Highly Competitive Apprenticeships in Their Fields, Thisprogram Greatly Assists Those Who Wish to Make a Positive Career Change. PARTNER4WORK Isrequesting 4 Million in Federal Funds, With 600,000 of Our Own Matching Funds. This Programwill Apply These Funds to Our Scaling Track Program With the Goal of Expanding Our Partnersapprenticeship Programs to the Southwestern Pennsylvania Region. in Particular, the Programincludes Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Green, Indiana, Washington, Andwestmoreland County. of These Nine, Indiana and Green County Qualify as Rural Communities Asdefined in the Foa. This Program Will Place 300 Participants in Training Programs With Theguarantee of a Journeyman Certification After Completion. the Training Provided Will Span Fromadvanced Manufacturing to Information Technology, All of Which Relating to Expanding Greenenergy Infrastructure. Through This Program, Apprenti Looks to Expand Its It Training Programsto More Rural Communities. Meanwhile, the German American Chamber of Commerce (gacc)will Be Bringing Manufacturing Training (including Positions Involved in Electric Vehicleproduction) to More Diverse Communities Throughout the Region. in Particular, These Programswill Be Targeting Women, People of Color, and Those Living in Rural Communities. Historically,these 3 Groups Struggle Greatly to Enter the Green Infrastructure Related Industries. Trainingprovided Will Include Classroom Instruction as Well as Paid On-the-job Training. This Program Willimpart Upon Participants the Skills to Work as Machinists, Software Developers, Software Qualityassurance Analysts and Testers, Electromechanical Equipment Assemblers.
