It Also Seeks to Respond to Demand From Localrenewable Energy and Transportation Companies to Hire Skilled Workers Ready to Enter Hard-to-fill,middle-skilled Occupations. CCC, in Collaboration With Project Partners, Will Develop and Offerthree New Training OPTIONS:1: Renewable Energy Technician 2: Industrial Maintenance Technician Trainings.this Six-month Technician Program Will Train Individuals for Employment in Advancedmanufacturing and Installation and Maintenance of Renewable Energy Systems and Products. Ourgraduates Will Be Prepared to Integrate, Install and Make Repairs Related to Equipment Andcontrols. the Training Provides a Broad-based Approach, With Emphasis on Renewable Energy Andon Mechanical and Electro-mechanical Systems, Fluid Power, Instrumentation and Controls as Wellas Systems Troubleshooting. the Training Will Include a Shared First Term Training and Then Students Choose a Second Term Focused on Either Renewable Energy or Industrial Maintenancelinked to Renewable Energy and TRANSPORTATION.3: Solar and Renewable Inside Electrical Apprenticeship Training. the Project Willdevelop a Four-year Apprenticeship to Train People to Work on Both Ac and DC Circuits Andbecome Licensed Electricians. It Will Provide a Pathway So an LRT Can Get Credit for Work Doneduring Their Two-year LRT Apprenticeship When Entering an Inside Electrician Apprenticeship.the Apprenticeship Must Be Developed Prior to Oregons State Apprenticeship Agency (boli)sinvolvement and Approval.target Population to Be Served: Individuals Who Are Low-income, Un Underemployed, Fromunderrepresented Populations, and Who Need Training to Be Able to Successfully Secure Good Jobsin Middle-skilled Occupations. Project Partners Include Culturally-specific Nonprofits Who Allowthe Project to Reach and Serve People of Color as a High Proportion of Individuals Served.selected Training Track: Developmenttargeted Infrastructure Sectors: Renewable Energy and Transportationtargeted Occupations: Solar Photovoltaic Installers, Wind Turbine Service Technicians,industrial Machinery Mechanics, Machinists, Computer Numerically Controlled Machine Toolprogrammers, Metal and Plastic, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologists Andtechnicians, Inside Electricianat the Completion of Technician Training, Students Will Earn Either a Renewable Energy Certificate or an Industrial Maintenance Certificate From Clackamas Community College. They May Also Earn the Following Industry Certifications: Industry Certifications: Bpi (building Performance Institute) Certification for RET-209 Gyo(global Wind Organization) for RET-213, and Nabcep Certification for RET-211. Once Thesolar and Renewable Inside Electrical Apprenticeship Training Is Developed, Individuals in Theinside Electrical Apprenticeship Become Licensed Electricians.
