Project Title: South Carolina - State Apprenticeship Expansion Formula Grantfunding Amount Requested: 641,423.00TOTAL Number of Apprentices Enrolled in Raps During the Life of the Grant: 51POPULATIONS to Be Served:all South Carolina Citizens Enrolled in Pre-apprenticeships Certified by Apprenticeshipcarolina and Individuals Enrolled in Usdol Registered Apprenticeship Programs (raps).focus on Enrolling Underrepresented Populations in Sc.targeted Industry(ies) and or Occupation(s):apprenticeship Carolina Will Develop Apprenticeable Occupations Within High-growthindustries Which Includes, But Is Not Limited to: Transportation and Warehousing Healthcare and Social Assistance Accommodation and Food Services Construction Information Technology Finance and Insurance Educational Services Professional, Scientific and Technicalservices Manufacturing Governmentsummary of Program Activities:scs Saef Grant Will Expand Raps and Pre-apprenticeships Statewide for High-growthindustries. Through Three Project Goals, Apprenticeship Carolina (AC) Will Collaborate Withlocal, Regional, and Statewide Partners on Innovative Strategies to Continue Expanding on Andmodernizing Raps, Strengthen Data Collection, Validation, and Integrity Processes, and Enhance Program Development and Recruitment Strategies. Ac Will Use Saef Funds to Upgrade Existingresources, Such as Enhancing the Grants Management System to Streamline the Data Collectionprocess for Sponsors and Apprentices. Saef Funds Will Also Be Used to Upgrade the Communityportal Originally Procured and Developed Under the Sae 2020 Grant.scs Three Goals for Saef Are:one: Support SC Employers Workforce Needs in High-growth Industries Through Expandeddevelopment of Rap and Pre-apprenticeship Opportunities.two: Ensure All Registered Apprentices, Especially Underrepresented Populations, Have Access Toraps and the Resources They Need to Be Successful.three: Further Enhance Existing Resources to Streamline the Data Collection and Validationstrategies and Ensure All Developed Materials Are Publicly Accessible.list of Credentials to Be Awarded:stackable Credentials, Including High School Diploma Ged, Apprenticeship Carolina Preapprenticeship Certificate, College Credits, Industry-recognized Credentials, College Degrees, Andusdol National Apprenticeship Completion Certificate.
