This Award Funds the Approved 2022?24 Arp Senior Demonstration Program Grant. Your 2022-24 Statutory Match Requirement Is 10% and Your Budgeted Match Is 10%. the Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) Proposes to Have 25 Americorps Seniors Volunteers (per Program Year), Who Will Provide Mentoring and Tutoring, as Well as Classroom, Family, and Socio-emotional Support to Children in the Headstart Centers and Public Schools in Guernsey, Monroe, and Noble Counties. Guernsey County Is an Area Identified as a Priority Service Area in Appendix a to the Nofa. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Education--school Readiness and K-12 Success. at the End of the Two-year Grant, Americorps Seniors Volunteers Will Be Responsible for Reducing the Learning Losses, Social Isolation, and Adjustment to Non-traditional Classroom Environments Created by the COVID-19 Pandemic, by Creating Expanded Roles for FGP Volunteers Under Senior Demonstration Authority. the Americorps Federal Investment of $127,500 (per Program Year) Will Be Commensurately Supplemented by $14,168 of Non-federal Resources. These Resources Will Be Derived From "proposed" In-kind Volunteer Meal Donations With $7.00 Per Meal Values Based on Fair Market Cost for Service Area.
