An Estimated 195 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve. of This Number, 175 RSVP Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Include One-on-one and Small Group Tutoring in Elementary Schools, Delivery of Meals to Homebound Older Adults and Preparation of Those Meals Prior to Delivery. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Education With an Emphasis on Inter-generational Programming. We Are Also Reporting Outcomes for Our Healthy Futures Placement Which Is a Meal Delivery Program Serving Vulnerable, Food Insecure Older Adults. at the End of the Three-year Grant, 350 Students and 140 Older Adults Will Be Served. in Addition to the 175 Volunteers Serving in Outcome-based Assignments, 20 Older Adults Will Be Engaged in Community Initiatives That Support Local Nonprofit Agencies. the CNCS Federal Investment of $109,117 Will Be Supplemented by a $74,505.00 Match From Fiftyforward.
