CSC Is a Non-profit Multi-service Center That Has Been Providing Services in Roosevelt County Since 1965, Hosting the RSVP Program Since 1981.THE Center Provides Services & Expanded Opportunities for Children, Youth, Families, & the Elderly of Portales & Roosevelt County. the Mission of CSC Is to Provide On-going Opportunities to Empower All of the People of Roosevelt County to Collaborate in Reducing Community Problems. This Enlightened Concept Will Become the Norm of the Community. an Estimated 76 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve in Roosevelt County. of This Number, 75 Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include, Assisting With Companionship, Nutrition/food Support, Transportation, Respite Services, Referrals. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Healthy Futures. at the End of the Three-year Grant, the RSVP Volunteers Will Have Addressed the Needs of the Community by Meeting or Exceeding the Outcomes; Number of Individuals With Increased Social Support & Number of Individuals That Reported Increased Food Security. the CNCS Federal Investment of $75,000 Will Be Supplemented by $29,000 in Non-federal Resources.
