Catholic Charities Indianapolis (CCI) a Comprehensive Social Service Agency Seeks to Continue to Sponsor the Senior Companion Program (SCP) of Greater Indianapolis. an Estimated 84 Americorps Seniors SCP Volunteers Will Provide 100 Vsy's. the 84 Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome-based Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include Companionship and Respite Services. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Healthy Futures Aging in Place. at the End of the Three-year Grant a Minimum of 75% of 125 Clients and 75% of 30 Caregivers Receiving Respite Will Report Anticipated Outcomes of Increased Social Support or Improved Capacity for Independent Living. the Americorps Annual Federal Investment of $546,625 Will Be Supplemented by Cci Share of $61,037.
