The Corps Network (TCN) Proposes to Have 2,552 Americorps Members (for a Total of 1094.85 Msy) Who Will Complete Environmental Stewardship Projects in Hundreds of Communities Across 41 States and DC. at the End of the First Program Year, the Americorps (a C) Eap Members Will Be Responsible for Improving 29,300 Acres of Public Land and 1,900 Miles of Trails and Waterways. in Addition, They Will Leverage 1,400 Volunteers. the Program Will Concentrate on the CNCS Focus Area of Environmental Stewardship, Including Disaster Services. the CNCS Investment of $875,880 in Administrative Fees Will Be Matched With $37.8 Million in Funds From Federal, State, and Local Resource Management Agencies Including the National Park Service, the Us Forest Service, State Departments of Natural Resources, and City Departments of Parks and Recreation, as Well as a Variety of Public and Private Philanthropies.
