Community Relations-social Development Commission (SDC) Requests Support From the Corporation for National and Community Service to Continue Its Operation of the Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) in Milwaukee County. This Year We Will Benefit From the Contributions of 54 Volunteers and Reach 42 Volunteer Service Years (vsy). With Contributions From Committed Volunteers, the FGP Will Serve 150 Students in One-on-one Tutoring and an Estimated 100 Children in Preschool or Child Development Centers. SDC Will Report on the Focus Area of Education, Reporting on the Performance Measures and Objectives for K-12 Success Through Mentoring (PM 2.1) at Public and Faith-based Schools, Supporting the Improvement of Academic Success, and School Readiness for Children Enrolled in Daycare Centers. an Annual Budget of $232,720 From CNCS Will Support Program Staff, Volunteers, and Children Who Are Enrolled in Local Schools and Non-profit Preschools in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
