The Pioneer Foster Grandparent Program Is Sponsored by Blue Valley Community Action Partnership (bvca). the Pioneer Foster Grandparent Program Was the First Foster Grandparent Program in the State of Nebraska Starting in 1972 With Bvca Sponsoring Since 1991. Blue Valley Community Action Partnership (BVCA) Was Officially Incorporated on January 19, 1966. Bvca Is a Private, Non-profit Organization. Bvca Partnership Operates 30 Programs That Interact and Complement Each Other. Their Programs Are as Diverse as the Communities and Families They Serve. Bvca's Primary Service Area Includes Butler, Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Polk, Saline, Seward, Thayer and York Counties With Limited Services Provided in Pawnee, Nemaha, Johnson and Richardson Counties in Nebraska. the Other FGP Counties Served Are in the Senca (southeast Community Action Partnership) Service Area, Pawnee, Nemaha, Johnson and Richardson Counties. Senca Also Serves Cass County in Nebraska. Bvca's Pioneer Foster Grandparent Program Is Requesting 50 Volunteer Service Years (vsy's) and a Total Dollar Amount of $320,908. Schools and Head Start Programs Are the Primary Stations FGP Volunteers Are Placed in. the Performance Measures We Are Using Are: 1.1 Assisting in Classroom, Head Start With the Objective of School Readiness. We Are Tracking the Number of Children Who Completed Early Childhood Education Programs and the Number of Children Demonstrating Gains in Social And/or Emotional Development. 2.1 Tutoring- Public School With the Objective K-12 Success. We Are Tracking the Number of Students Completing a CNCS Supported Education Program and the Number of Students in Mentoring/tutoring Programs With Improved Academics.
