Delaware State University Engages Students in Stem Learning Experiences Designed to Strengthen and Expand Their Career Pathways in Food and Agricultural Sciences. the Program Focuses on Building Student Capacity Through Academic Training, Hands-on Learning, and Research Opportunities That Prepare Graduates With the Skills Needed for Entry-level Positions in Agriculture and Related Fields. Over a Four-year Period, at Least 100 Students Will Participate in the Program, Gaining Exposure to Interdisciplinary Coursework, Applied Research, and Extension Activities Centered on Food Systems. This Approach Equips Students With Practical Knowledge While Deepening Their Understanding of the Goals and Priorities of American Agriculture.
