Hope Through Housing Foundation (hthf)'s Mission Is to Transform Communities and Help Break the Generational Cycle of Poverty by Empowering Residents Through Providing Youth Development, Economic Mobility and Senior Health/wellness Services Across National Core's Portfolio of Affordable Housing Communities. the Proposed Vista Project Aligns Primarily With CNCS' Focus Area of Capacity Building, While Also Addressing the Areas of Education and Economic Mobility. the Vista Project Will Seek to Expand Hthf's Digital Presence, Develop a Sustainable Resident Teen Program (that Emphasizes College/career Readiness, Financial Literacy and Soft-skill Development) and Increase Resident Engagement Levels Across HTHF Properties in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties in California. (7) Vista Members Will Contribute to the Goals of the Project by Researching Best Practices, Creating Social Media Toolkits, Surveying Teen Residents to Create a Teen Program Curriculum, and Establishing/expanding Partnerships With Local Business and Community Organizations to Develop a Sustainable Source of Volunteers and Advocates for HTHF. Full Implementation of the Proposed Vista Project Will Be Over the Course of 1 Year and Aims to Help HTHF Increase Their Digital Media Presence by 25% (measured by Number of Social Media Followers) and Provide New Teen Programming for 120 Teen Residents.
