An Estimated 200 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve in Athens-limestone, Alabama (ALC) RSVP. of This Number 133 RSVP Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include Delivering Meals to Homebound and Disabled, Providing Transportation (access to Care), and Companionship to Insure a Caring Quality of Life and Living Independently. at the End of the Three-year Grant Period Alc RSVP Will Deploy 101 (50%) of RSVP Volunteers in Healthy Futures Primary Focus Area Providing Companionship, Respite Care, and Meals on Wheels for 100 Homebound Clients to Continue to Live Independently and Transportation to 50 Clients Providing Access to Healthcare; 15 Volunteers (8%) Will Be Deployed to Education Intergenerational Programming in the Areas of K-12 Success Tutoring 150 Students in the Areas of Literacy and Math to Improve Academic Performance and Educational Outcomes; 17 Volunteers (9%) Will Serve in Economic Opportunities Providing Financial Literacy Through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program to More Than 1800 Elderly, Veterans and Low Income (a Total of 133 Volunteers Will Serve in Outcome Performance Measures) and the Remaining 67 (33%) RSVP Volunteers in CNCS Focus Areas (community Priorities) Helping the Elderly, Disadvantaged, Veterans And/or Family Members by Providing Resources to Nonprofit and Public Agencies. the CNCS Federal Investment of $132,514.00 Will Be Supplemented by $74,882.00.
