Tri-county Community Action Program, Inc., (tccap), a Private Non-profit 501 (C) 3 Agency, Is Coos County Rsvp's Sponsoring Agency. Tccap Is a Multi-program Agency With Projects and Service Locations Throughout Coos, Carroll, and Grafton Counties and Predominately Serves Low Income and Vulnerable Populations. Tccap Is Dedicated to Improving the Lives and Well-being of New Hampshire's Residents and Communities and Is Committed to Providing Opportunities and Supports for People to Grow in Self-sufficiency and Better Conditions in Their Communities. Overall, the Agency Has Annually Served Over 24,000 Northern New Hampshire Citizens This Past Year by Assisting Individuals and Families via the Following Services: Head Start; Elder Programing; Guardianship Services; Energy and Fuel Assistance; Housing and Community Contact; Domestic Abuse; and Rural Transportation Programing. Coos County RSVP Covers the Most Aged and Impoverished Area of the Three Counties Served and Battles With the Highest Mountainous Terrain, Harsh Winters, Limited Public Transportation, Very Limited Specialized Health Care Facilities, Limited Grocery Resources, and the Most Rapidly Ageing Senior Population in New Hampshire. We Project That 350 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve. of This Number 150 of These Volunteers Will Participate in Outcome-based Assignments: Healthy Futures (which Includes Matter of Balance and Bone Builder Classes); Food Resources; Essential Transportation Services; and Friendly Calls and Visits. at the End of the Three Year Grant, We Will Report the Results of Surveys of Our Most Vulnerable Seniors. We Anticipate That, as in the Past, These Surveys Will Indicate Both Increased Social Ties and Ability to Age in Place Due in Part to the Services Provided by RSVP Volunteers. the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) Federal Investment of $68,572 Per Year for Three Years Will Be Supplemented by $20,572 - the Sum of Funding From the County of Coos, Small Local Grants, Special Events, and Donations.
