The MT. Adams Institute Proposes to Have 74.91 Msy (95 Members) Who Will Engage in Its Career Development and Environmental Stewardship Programs (vetswork Environment, Vetswork Greencorps and Public Lands Stewards) Focused on Public Lands and Natural Resources Management in Seventeen States: Wa, or, Mo, Ar, Il, in, Va, WV, NC, SC, Ga, Id, Ak, La, Az, NM and TX. at the End of the First Year, Americorps Members Will Have Improved Over 7500 Acres of Public Lands, Built/maintained Over 2500 Miles of Public Hiking Trails and Maintained Over 250 Public Structures. Members Will Also Have Developed Skills, Knowledge and Professional Networks That Will Help Them Secure Permanent Employment in the Sector. This Program Will Focus on the CNCS Focus Areas of Veterans and Military Families, and Environmental Stewardship. the CNCS Investment of $1,119,904 Will Be Matched With $1,722,930 in Public Funding.
