An Estimated 284 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve. of This Number, 278 Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include Food Delivery, Companionship, and Health Education Programming. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Healthy Futures, Providing Information and Services That Increase Seniors? Ability to Remain in Their Own Homes for as Long as Possible. at the End of the Three-year Grant, 1,440 Individuals Will Report Having Increased Social Supports Necessary to Remain in Their Own Homes. Head Start Classroom Assistance Volunteers Will Also Be Recruited and Managed Under This Project With a Total of 360 Children Attending School Readiness Events and Demonstrating Gains in Social And/or Emotional Development. the CNCS Federal Investment of $96,250 Will Be Supplemented by $47,984.
