Fiftyforward Proposes to Engage 195 RSVP Volunteers to Assist Non-profit Organizations and Public Schools in Tennessee's Davidson and Williamson Counties. Activities Supported by Fiftyforward RSVP Volunteers Are Primarily One-on-one Tutoring of At-risk Elementary School Students and Delivery of Nutritious Meals to Homebound, Frail Seniors. the Project's Primary Focus Area Is Education Which Is Supported by Fiftyforward Rsvp's Self-administered Friends Learning in Pairs (FLIP) Tutoring Program. Flip Proposes to Engage 120 Volunteers Who Will Provide Tutoring Services for 400 Struggling Students Annually. the Flip Program Serves 30 Elementary Schools in Davidson and Williamson Counties. Each of Those Schools Is an Individual Station. Fiftyforward Rsvp's Secondary Focus Is Delivery of Meals Through Partnership With Fiftyforward Meals on Wheels Which Serves Approximately 150 Seniors Annually With a Hot Meal 5 Days a Week. 50 RSVP Volunteers Serve as Meal and Route Prep Assistants and as Volunteer Drivers Who Also Provide Socialization and a Safety Check for Vulnerable Seniors. Fiftyforward Also Proposes to Engage 25 RSVP Volunteers in Supporting Activities That Meet Community Needs. the CNCS Federal Investment of $101,617 Will Be Supplemented by $128,004.
