Executive Summary Linc ST. Charles County Established Over 25 Years Ago Covering ST. Charles County, Missouri With Crisis Intervention, Support Services and Direction to Disadvantaged Children and Families to Create a More Functional Living Environment. Linc Provides Wrap Around Services Such as Emergency Food, Housing and Utility Assistance, Tutoring/mentoring, and Children's Counseling. This Support Takes the Form of a Variety of Programs Designed to Promote Wholeness and Well-being, Helping Parents Set and Achieve Goals That Are Conducive to Providing Safe Environment for Their Children. Since 2010 Linc, in Conjunction With Other Non-profits, Area Churches and Businesses, Instituted the Summer Student Lunch Program Which Feeds Children Who Would Normally Receive Free or Reduced Lunch During the School Year. Bike Club Operates in Tandem With the Summer Lunch Program and Allows Students the Opportunity to Earn Bicycles by Volunteering Time. Seeds of Love Garden Teaches "community" by Working Together. Linc Currently Has Programs Available Offering Tutoring to Both Struggling School Aged Children and Preparing High School Drop Outs Preparing for Hiset Exam as Well as Partnership in Providing Testing and Coaching for Higher Education. Linc If Chosen as Sponsored Agency Will Be Able to Utilize the Foster Grandparent Program as One More Wraparound Service to the Covered Counties Lincoln, ST. Charles and Warren. CNCS Grant Funding at $180,523.00 Dollars Available to Apply and Having an Estimated 50 to 60 Individual Volunteers of Which 30 Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include, Early Childhood Education Programs, School Readiness, Social and Emotional Development, Literacy Skills, Math Skills, Mentoring and Tutoring. RT and Volunteers That Has Made Our Journey Possible. Linc Is Honored to Have the Wisdom From These Senior Adults to Provide One-on-one Services to Children With Exceptional or Other Special Needs. Linc's Mission and Vision Is Exactly the Fit Needed in Our Overall Master Plan.
