An Estimated 225 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve in Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties. of This Number, 95 RSVP Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome Based Assignments Designed to Meet the Unmet Needs in Communities Across Our Service Area. Some of Their Activities Will Include Food Delivery to Older Adults and Transportation for Independent Living for Older Adults. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Healthy Futures. at the End of the Three-year Grant and as a Result of RSVP Volunteers, 144 Older Adults Receiving Meal Delivery Services Will Report Having Increased Social Ties or Perceived Social Support, and 17 Older Adults Receiving Transportation Will Report Having Increased Social Ties or Perceived Social Support. the Annual CNCS Federal Investment of $92,595 Will Be Supplemented by Michigan Aging and Adult Services Agency State Investment of $23,379, and Senior Services, Inc. of $9,972 in Non-federal Support for RSVP of Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties Sponsored by Senior Services, Inc.
