An Estimated 675 RSVP Volunteers Will Serve. of This Number 77 RSVP Volunteers Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include Packaging and Delivering Home Bound Meals to Senior Citizens, Telephone Reassurance to Homebound Seniors, Transportation, Tax Preparation Services, Food Distribution and Pantry Support, Assisting in Early Childhood Education Programs. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is Healthy Futures. at the End of the Three-year Grant, Older Adults Will Receive Food, Transportation and Companionship Services to Allow Them to Live Independently and Increase Their Social Ties/social Support, Food Insecure Households Will Receive Support to Alleviate Long-term Hunger Increasing Food Security for Themselves and Their Children, Economically Disadvantaged Individuals Will Receive Tax Preparation Services and Education Saving Them the Cost of a Paid Preparer. the CNCS Federal Investment of $60,176 Will Be Supplemented by $27,211 of Non-federal Resources.
