Would Like to Submit a Grant Application for Fy 2017 FGP Quarter 4 (year 3 of a Multi-year Grant). an Estimated 63 Foster Grandparents Volunteers Will Serve. of This Number 63 Foster Grandparents Will Be Placed in Outcome Assignments. Some of Their Activities Will Include Tutoring, Mentoring, Reading, and Comforting Children While Assisting in Assigned Classrooms. the Primary Focus Area of This Project Is "education". at the End of the Three-year Grant Foster Grandparent Volunteers Will Have Assisted Over 1,000 Children to Reach the Following Two Outcomes: Students Will Improve Academic Performance in Literacy And/or Math, and Children Will Demonstrate Gains in Social And/or Emotional Development. the CNCS Federal Investment of $287,028.00 Will Be Supplemented by $31,914.00.
