Jevs Human Services Proposes to Have 20 Techserv Scholars Americorps Program Members Who Will Provide Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and Digital Literacy Training and Supports in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Camden, New Jersey. at the End of the First Year, Members Will Be Responsible for Stem Education Instruction to at Least 400 Students in Grades 5-12; and Each Corps Member Will Have Attained at Least One Industry Standard Certification in a Technology Related Field. in Addition, the Corps Members Will Leverage an Additional 50 Volunteers Who Will Be Engaged in Supporting Stem Instruction. This Program Will Focus on the CNCS Focus Areas of Education in Stem-related Subject Areas, as Well as Increasing Economic Opportunities for Communities by Engaging Opportunity Youth Serving as Americorps Members. the CNCS Investment of $269,992 Will Be Matched With $344,453, $35,000 in Public Funding and $309,453 in Private Funding.
