Child, Inc. Will Expand Its Domestic Violence-community Health Worker (dv-chw) Services in New Castle County, Delawares Most Populated County, Where the Largest Percentage of Violent Crime Occurs. the Dv-chw Project Is a Public Health and Victim Services Response to Domestic Violence by Staff Who Are Dually Trained as Domestic Violence Advocates and Community Health Workers to Address Safety Needs as Well as Physical and Mental Health Needs of Domestic Violence Victims. Victims of Domestic Violence Will Receive Comprehensive Case Management Services;referrals to Other Victim and Social Service Resources Including Police-based Victim Services, Child, Inc.'s Domestic Violence Shelters, and the Domestic Violence Rapid Rehousing Program;and Engage in Safety Planning for Themselves and Their Children.
