Karidat Social Services, a Non-profit, Non-governmental Agency in the U.s. Territory of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (cnmi), Will Strengthen and Enhance Its Existing Victim-centered and Trauma-informed Services to Meet the Individualized Needs of Pre-certified Victims/survivors of Human Trafficking Identified on the Three Populated Islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. Funding Will Be Utilized by Karidat for Activities That Include: 1) the Provision of Trauma-informed, Victim Centered Services to Meet the Individualized Needs of Victims of Human Trafficking While Providing for Victim Autonomy and Promoting the Survivors' Choice Within the Delivery of the Service, as Well as Protecting the Victims' Privacy and Confidentiality; 2) Assistance or Referral to Other Essential Services for Victims of Human Trafficking Not Provided Through Karidat; 3) Training and Collaboration With Local Partners and the Community to Ensure Trafficking Victims Are Identified and Referred for Appropriate Services; and 4) Data Collection Program Staff to Ensure the Program Is Meeting Stated Goals, Objectives, and Performance Measures.
