The National White Collar Crime Center, in Coordination With the West Virginia State Police, Will Implement the Internet Crimes Against Children Data System Enhancement and Transition Project. the Project Will Sustain and Improve the Data System, the National Platform That Supports Law Enforcement Investigations of Online Child Exploitation. the System Is Used by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Forces and Thousands of Affiliate Agencies to Receive, Triage, Assign, Deconflict, and Track Cybertipline Reports and Related Cases. Project Activities Will Include Transitioning Technical Staff From West Virginia State Police to the National White Collar Crime Center to Ensure Continuity, Applying Phased Agile Software Development to Deliver Enhancements, Expanding Tools for Case Coordination, Strengthening Cybertipline Triage and Management, Publishing Internet Crimes Against Children Data System Standard Operating Procedures, and Delivering National Training and Technical Assistance on the System. Deliverables Include Updated System Modules, Standard Operating Procedures, Training Webinars and Videos, Quarterly Steering Committee Meetings, Bi-weekly Coordination With the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and Comprehensive Statistical Reporting to Ojjdp.
