The Iredell County Sheriffs Office Would Like to Use This Years Jag Funding to Purchase Thermal Optics With Kestrel 5700 Weather Meters to Allow for More Situational Awareness During Low Light and Nighttime Operations. These Optics Would All the Persons Using Them the Ability to See What Standard Vision or Night Vision Cannot. This Will Greatly Enhance Their Operational Capability and Safety. Total Cost for the Two Thermal Optics and Kestrels Will Use the Full Funding of $10,314. the City of Statesville Is Requesting to Use This Years Funding to Purchase an Electric Golf Cart and Trailer to Be Used in Public Education, Event Activities, Crime Scenes, and Disaster Response. It Can Be Used in Conjunction With the Current Dwi Education and Impaired Simulation Courses Offered. the Cost for This Unit Will Use the Full Funding Amount of $23,819. the Total for Both Allocations Will Be $34,133.
