The White County Sheriffs Office Proposes to Enact Project Stat (surveillance Techniques and Tactics). the Purpose Is to Develop a Comprehensive, Multifaceted Program Designed to Address the Unprecedented Rising Levels of Violent Crime, Drug Trafficking and Abuse, and Crimes Against Property During Recent Years in White County, Ar. the Project Will Focus on Leading This Agency and Other Law Enforcement Agencies Throughout White County in the Detection, Deterrence, Prevention, and the Investigation of These Offenses With the Implementation of Advanced Technology, Progressive Training, and Operational Partnerships. Project Activities Include: (1) the Acquisition and Deployment of Six (6) Mobile/tactical Cell Cameras With Two-year Cellular Network Connection Allowing for Real-time Alerts to Law Enforcement Personnel and the Analysis of High-crime Areas, (2) the Acquisition and Deployment of Five (5) Covert Vehicle Trackers With GPS and Two Years of Airtime and Mapping Support, Allowing for Real-time Alerts and Actionable Intelligence for Law Enforcement Personnel in Ongoing Criminal Investigations, (3) the Addition of Two Digital Forensic Cameras for Use by Crime Scene Technician Personnel and Crime Scene Investigators to Better Identify, Document, and Collect Evidence in Incidents of Felony Offenses. Expected Outcomes Include the Successful Development of an Overall Infrastructure, to Include Equipment and Personnel, Designed to Combat the Array of Rising Crime; Implementation of Proactive Measures Towards High Crime Deterrence and Prevention; Increasing the Response Capabilities of the Patrol Division When Responding to Violent Crime Incidents and Improvement of the Investigative Abilities and Independence of the Investigation Division; Measurable Reduction in Crime Rates in White County, Ar; Increasing the Analysis of Repeat Victims, Habitual Offenders, and Geographic Concentrations of Violent Offenses; Increasing the Assistance to Surrounding Law Enforcement Agencies in the Efforts Against Crime in Their Jurisdictions; and Regular, Documented Assessments of Project Elements. the White County Sheriffs, Surrounding Law Enforcement Agencies, White County Victims of Crime, and All Other Citizens of White County Are the Intended Beneficiaries of the Project.
