This Proposed Project Is Submitted by the Stevens County District Court to Enhance the Therapeutic Court Programs. These Programs Include a Behavior Health Adult Therapeutic Drug Court and Veterans Treatment Court. the Goal of This Project Is to Ensure Quality Programs That Reach All of Stevens County Residents That Are Both Justice Involved and Have an Underlying Substance Abuse Disorder, Co-occurring Disorder, or Underlying PTSD or Tbi in Respect to Veterans Treatment Court; and to Give These Individuals the Opportunity to Enter Recovery and Address Their Sud And/or Mental Health While Preventing or Managing Criminal Convictions on Their Record in the Hopes That They Will Take the Opportunity to Turn Their Life Around, Utilizing the Resources and Support Provided to Be a Positive Member for Society. Funding for This Project Will Be Utilized to Maximize Compliance With Best Practice Standards as Outlined by All Rise for Justice. Project Activities Include Maintaining Key Members of the Multidisciplinary Team, Continuing Education and Training for Various Roles Within the Multidisciplinary Team, Implementing Additional Risk and Need Assessment Tools, Promoting and Providing Complimentary Services for Program Participants and Implementing the Ability for Supervision Adjustments. Expected Outcomes Include Maintaining an Informed and Educated Multidisciplinary Team to Address Participants Program Compliance and Progress, While Providing Evidence-based Services; Assisting Program Participants in Building Recovery Capital by Providing Complimentary Services; Creating Opportunities for Supervision Adjustments to Meet Participants Where They Are, Assist Participants in Creating and Achieving Goals, and Expand Supervision Tools to Allow for Less Invasive Drug Testing Procedures; and Reduce Recidivism in Stevens County.
