This Project Consists of the Purchase and Installation of Security Equipment for the Mercer County Courthouse and the Judicial Annex. Equipment Includes Cameras, Monitors, DVRS, and X-ray Scanners for the Entryways at the Courthouse and the Annex. the Majority of the Existing Surveillance Cameras, DVRS, Monitors and X-ray Scanners Were Installed in 2005. Since That Time, There Have Been Minor Repairs and Replacements as Needed. the Replacement Equipment Was Mid-grade and Less Expensive Than the More Modern Versions. as a Result of the Mid-grade Equipment, the Video Footage Is Very Poor Quality, Therefore It Is Difficult for Security Officers to Monitor Activities in and Around the Courthouse and the Annex. the Main Goal of This Project Is to Ensure the Safety and Well-being of the Public and the Employees Who Serve Mercer County.
