Provide Interactive Tta Based on Adult Learning Theory to Ctas Pa 2 Grantees. Mentor Teams Assist Each Grantee Through Three Phases of Facilitated Workshops in Developing and Strengthening Their Advisory Board; Developing and Administering a Community and Justice System Needs Assessment; and Using That Data to Create a Comprehensive Tribal Justice System Strategic Plan. Mentors Tailor Tta to Each Individual Community and Guide Justice System Practitioners Through a Process of Collaborative, Multi-disciplinary Planning Activities That Generate a Deeper Level of Understanding of Community Wellness and Safety Needs. This Approach Allows the Participants to Define What Justice Is to Their Community and Identify How Culture, Language, Identity, and Traditions Can Be Foundational to Their Plans. the Expected Outcome Is a 10-YEAR Strategic Plan Created by Each Tribe to Address Justice, Safety, and Wellness for Generations to Come. This Project Also Supports the Bja and the U.s. Department of Justice Ctas Committee With the Coordination of Ctas Orientation and Assessment of the Application Process, Facilitation of the Committee's Efforts to Educate Tribal Participants in Accessing Grants and Preparing to Apply for Ctas. Activities Include Scheduling Meetings and Events, Generating Bids and Conference Cost Approval Forms for Submission, and Tracking Registrations Across All Purpose Areas. the Outcomes Are the Committee Has Doj-wide Coordination of Ctas Activities and Logistics, and Tribes Have Increased Capacity to Successfully Apply for Ctas, Acquire Funding, and Implement Their Projects.
