Washington County Adult Drug Treatment Court (WCATC) Is a Post-adjudication Drug Treatment Court. the Purpose of This Expansion Is to Evaluate and Improve Program Equity and Inclusion Measures, Increase Program Capacity, Enhance Treatment and Supportive Services, Refine Collection and Use of Program and Outcome Data, and Expand Recovery Support Services to Further Improve the Alignment With Best Practice Standards. the Project Will Promote Equity and Inclusion in Underserved Populations. Wcatc Is Requesting $1,000,000 in Federal Funds to Expand Enrollment to 30 Participants Each Year and at Least 90 Participants Over the Life of the Grant. the Minimum Length of Participation Is 420 Days, With No Maximum. the Average Length of Services Is About 477 Days. All Participants Have Access to All Types of Available Mat While in Service. Project Activities to Be Performed Include: (1) Developing a Comprehensive Equity and Inclusion Plan With at Least One Solution Piloted and Evaluated; (2) Incorporating and Assuring Evidence-based Manualized Treatment; (3) Developing a Local Partial Hospital Program Level of Care; (4) Collaborating With a Community Partner That Serves a Historically Underserved Community to Remove Access Barriers; (5) Increasing Program Staff to Meet Expansion Needs; (6) Conducting Access, Process, Treatment, Outcome and Recidivism Evaluations That Are Shared With the Coordinating Committee; and (7) Expanding the Alumni Group to Every Week and Family Support Activities to Twice Per Year. Continued Quality Improvement Measures Will Be Implemented to Adhere to the Nadcps 10 Best Practices Standards. Washington County Adult Residents (aged 17 or Older) With High Criminogenic Risk/need, Severe Substance Use Disorder, and Postconviction Stage of Criminal Proceedings Will Benefit From This Program. Wcatc Intends to Contract for Case Management Services With Elevate Inc., Professional Services Group, and Alarus Healthcare as the Identified Treatment Providers. Expected Outcomes Include Increased Access to the Wcatc Program, Expanded Treatment Options and Recovery Services, and Improved Program Evaluation Mechanisms.
