The Disparate Jurisdictions of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and the Lafayette Consolidated Government Will Use Jag Funds for the Procurement of Equipment. Specifically the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office Will Procure Surveillance Cameras and Procure a Contract With a Trusted Company to Install and Service These Cameras. the Feed Will Be Routed to the Lpso Real Time Crime Center. the Lafayette Police Department Will Procure Mobile Crime Cameras to Be Stationed at Various Points Throughout the City. Using Data Received From These Devices Will Enhance the Departmnet's Ability in Predictive Policing. Also a Laptop to Become Nibrs Compliant Will Be Purchased by the Lafayette Police Department.
