The City of Lancaster Public Safety Officials Propose to Work With the Lancaster Sheriff's Office to Provide Video Surveillance Equipment to Be Installed in High Crime Locations Within Selected Areas of the City, Such as: American Heroes Park, the Stadium, SGT. Steve Owen Memorial Park, the Fairgrounds, and the Business District. in Addition, to Prevent Serious Injuries and Fatalities the Requested Funds Also Include Traffic Enforcement Equipment Which Will Be Located at Sites Within the City Where Vehicular Incidents and Collisions Are at Its Highest. Project Costs Include: Traditional CCTV Cameras for Anti-crime Locations, Dash Mounted Detectors, and Fixed and Handheld Radars.
