The Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) Training and Technical Assistance (TA) Initiative Provides Ovw Grantees and Subgrantees With the Expertise and Support They Need to Develop and Implement Successful State, Local, Tribal, and Campus Projects; Increase Victim Safety; and Bolster Offender Accountability. Through Cooperative Agreements, Ovw Supports Educational Initiatives, Conferences, Peer-to-peer Consultations, and Targeted Assistance That Allow Current and Potential Grantees and Subgrantees to Learn From Experts and One Another About How to Overcome Obstacles and Incorporate Promising Practices in Their Efforts to Address Violence Against Women. in Addition, Ovw Is Focused on Building the Capacity of the Criminal and Civil Justice Systems and Victim Service Providers to Respond Effectively to Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking and to Foster Partnerships Between Organizations That Have Not Traditionally Worked Together to Address Violence Against Women. With Fy 2024 Ta Initiative Funding, Collaborative Solutions (CS) Inc. Will Continue to Participate in the Safe Housing Partnerships Technical Assistance Consortium (shptac). This Project Will Provide Training and Ta to Ovw Funded Domestic and Sexual Violence Programs, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Coalitions, Homeless Service System Providers, and Continuums of Care With the Primary Goal of Increasing Coordination and Collaboration Among These Entities and Expanding Their Capacity to Meet the Housing Needs of Survivors, With a Focus on Equity and the Needs of Survivors From Historically Marginalized Communities. Over the Course of the Project Period, CS Will Collaborate With Shptac Federal Partners and Organizations, Including the National Alliance for Safe Housing (nash), the National Network to End Domestic Violence (nnedv), the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (nrcdv), the National Alliance to End Sexual Violence (naesv), Sttars Indigenous Safe Housing Center (sttars), and Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH) to Provide Coordinated, Cross-cutting Ta That Will Enhance the Knowledge Base, Service Capacity, and Coordination Between Domestic and Sexual Violence System Stakeholders and Homeless Service System Stakeholders. This Project Supports Fy 2024 Ta Initiative Purpose Area 59: Domestic Violence & Housing Technical Assistance Consortium. the Timing for Performance of This Award Is 24 Months. This Award Is for Years Four and Five of a Five-year Comprehensive Ta Project Awarded Competitively Under the Fy 2021 Ta Initiative Solicitation.
