The Grants to Prevent and Respond to Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Sex Trafficking Against Children and Youth Program Supports Comprehensive, Community-based Efforts to Develop or Expand Prevention, Intervention, Treatment, and Response Strategies to Address the Needs of Children and Youth Impacted by Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, and Sex Trafficking, Including Support for Their Non-abusing Parents, Caregivers, and Legal Guardians. With This Grant Funding, the Safe City Commission (scc)will Implement the "expanding Hope and Safety for Youth Exposed to Domestic Violence" Program to Address the Critical Needs of Youth Ages 11-24 in Tarrant County, Texas. in Collaboration With Theunbound Now and the Fort Worth Police Department, SCC Will: 1) Conduct a Needs Analysis and Identification of 3,000 Youth Aged 11 to 17 Exposed to Domestic Violence; 2) Provide Direct Advocacy Services to 1,000 Youth or Parents Exposed to Domestic Violence and Connect 750 Youth Aged 11 to 24 Exposed to Domestic Violence to Counseling or Other Programs; 3) Train and Educate Law Enforcement and Allied Professionals; 4) Develop a Toolkit for Agencies Providing Services for Youth Exposed to Domestic Violence; 5) Create Curriculum Related to the Prevention of Technology-facilitated Abuse; and 6) Hold at Least 24 Meetings of the Multi-disciplinary CCR Hope and Safety Task Force. the Timing for Performance of This Award Is 36 Months.
