The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office Will Use Lemhwa Grant Funds to Purchase Cordico's Customized Wellness Application and to Contract With a Mental Health Clinician to Work Directly With Police and Corrections Officers and Dispatchers. Cordicoshield Law Enforcement Wellness App (CSLEWA) Includes Content Designed Specifically for Public Safety Personnel. the Cslewa Also Provides a Variety of Useful Tools Including Immediate Connections to an Employee Assistance Program (EPA) Licensed Clinician; Copline, a Confidential 24-HOUR Hotline Answered by Retired Police Officers Who Have Gone Through Strenuous Vetting and Training; and Direct Access to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, a National Network of Local Crisis Centers That Provide Free and Confidential Emotional Support to People in Suicidal Crisis or Emotional Distress. the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office Also Seeks to Contract With a Mental Health Clinician Who Could Offer More Immediate and Specialized Mental Health Services to Supplement the County's Eap Program. This Individual Will Provide Both Mandated and Unmandated Support and Mental Health Services.
