Provide a One-paragraph Summary of Your Proposed Vista Project That Includes the Following: a Description of Your Organization?s Mission; the CNCS Programming Priority Area That Your Project Aligns With; a Description of the Proposed Project Goals, Including Who Will Benefit From the Project; the Number of Vistas You Are Requesting and an Overview of Major Activities; the Estimated Time Required to Complete the Project. the Arc Jacksonville?s Mission Is to Serve People With Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to Achieve Their Full Potential and to Participate in Community Life. the Proposed Vista Project Aligns With the Economic Opportunity Focus Area. the Vista Project Will Seek to Build the Arc?s Capacity to Provide Services That Are Affordable, Improve Employment Prospects, Improve Financial Literacy, Sustain Affordable Housing, All Designed to Lift Out of Poverty Individuals With Intellectual/developmental Disabilities and to Prevent Individuals and Families From Falling Into Poverty. the Program Expects to Benefit Over 400 Individuals With Id/dd and Their Families. Six Vista Members Will Contribute to the Goals of the Project by Performing Activities Such as Grant Management, Development, Asset Building, Employment, Community Partnerships, Volunteer Management, Research and Best Practices Implementation Over the Course of 3 Years.
