Description:this Action Provides Funding in the Amount of $1,266,667 to Citrus County, Florida to Implement Its Project to Replace Individual Septic Systems With a Centralized Sewer System as Directed in the 2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act or as Identified in an Approved Technical Correction If One Has Been Approved for This Project. Activities:the Activities to Be Performed Include the Execution and Implementation of a Wastewater Infrastructure Construction Project. Workplan Activities Consist of Designing and Constructing a Centralized Sewer System to Replace the Existing Septic Systems in the Homosassa Area. Subrecipient:no Subawards Are Included in This Assistance Agreement.outcomes:the Anticipated Deliverables Include Installation of a Sewer System Replacing Septic Systems. the Expected Outcomes Include Significant Reduction in Nutrient Pollution Entering Homosassa River and Nearby Water Bodies, Improved Public Health and Reduced Contamination Risks From Septic Systems, Preservation of Environmentally Sensitive Areas, Such as the Gulf of America's Seagrass Beds, and Long-term Protection of Local Wildlife, Including the Endangered West Indian Manatee. the Intended Beneficiaries Include the Residents of Citrus County, Florida.
